The Fota Island Challenge Series Sprint Duathlon – 28th February 2015

The Fota Island Challenge Series Sprint Duathlon consisted of a 4.8km run around the grounds of Fota Island Resort followed by an 18km cycle, taking competitors out towards Cobh and on a loop around the back of the Great Island, followed by the third and final element, a second 4.8km run and the reverse of the first.
6 people from AGS IRE participated. One came 2nd in her category and two came 3rd.

Money was raised through the event for Breakthrough Cancer Research.
In addition, a separate collection was made by AGS for the I.S.P.C.A. (Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
